I've seen it all! even the "specials" in europe, but it doesn't seem like it's done yet so i'm going to read the manga n.n

All was golden in the sky when the day met the night.

Chiaki looks a bit too young and there's a lot of negative space in the middle. I hesitate to say it doesn't work with the piece, because it does, since Chiaki and Nodame's heads are the focal point, but I would recommend reducing the amount of space. I think it's distracting... wondering is this finished and why is there an arm poking out... I also highly recommend you put in more of their bodies. (Then it'll get really Klimt Kiss style.) As it is, it's quirky, a little jarring, very detailed but still looks off like it isn't complete.
But I have to say, I really like your style. Some of it reminds of Klimt and Art Nouveau. This my favorite of all your work and it is very Klimt in a modern (like Picasso and Dali) way. Very original. Good job.
